Located right off Main Street (Rt. 27), the Highland Park Farmers Market was established in 1996 and continues to operate as a weekly open-air farmers market. Farmers and and other producers from throughout NJ come every Friday from February through December to sell some of the finest products the state has to offer. From seasonal produce and specialty mushrooms, to farm-fresh dairy and sustainably-produced meats and cheeses — from breads and pastries to pickles, hot sauce, and so much more, the Highland Park Farmers Market has everything you need to cross off your grocery list while supporting local farmers and small businesses. In addition to our wonderful vendors, the Market is frequently joined by community partners such as the Global Grace Be The Change Health Van, the Highland Park Public Library, Sustainable Highland Park, and other local businesses and organizations. Redevelopment Agency develops its plans for moving Highland Park forward in 2015

The members of the Highland Park Redevelopment Agency at its Thursday, January 15, 2015 meeting, reorganized, elected officers, discussed amending the Highland Park Redevelopment Plan, and heard presentations from developers interested in pursuing mixed-use development in Highland Park's downtown area. Among the many development issues raised were a few significant themes: the attractiveness of the Highland Park community to developers; the dilemma of fiscal viability in a development landscape that features small development parcels; and the community’s need for not only mixed-use development, but also mixed-income development that would serve middle income population.
