Downtown Highland Park has a new look – thanks to a business that specializes in new looks. Arnerine’s Beauty Boutique, located at 511 Raritan Avenue, is a new “multicultural upscale boutique” beauty salon.
Owner, Arnerine Pierre, began her beauty career as a licensed stylist in 1991. Her gifted hands have been creating original cuts and customizing hair color for over 20 years. Her drive for the excellence within the industry pushed her to develop a strong relationship with her loyal and increasing number of clients who encouraged her to open her own establishment.
“We view ourselves as more than a salon, but a place where each client receives a luxury experience,” said Arnerine, whose vision in opening the salon is to create a glamorous space where “inspiration and beauty coexist in every element of the client’s experience.”
The fully renovated salon specializes in precision haircuts, coloring, chemical treatments and hair extensions for all hair types. Also, professional make-up artists are on staff. They can create a new look for everything from the board-room to the run-way.
Arnerine’s passion for the beauty industry has led her to complete many continuing education classes on the latest advancements in techniques and products. She also has pursued a career as a Mary Kay beauty consultant.
