Rabbi Dr. Bernhard H. Rosenberg, who is one of the pioneering voices for Holocaust and Genocide Education, is presenting a Holocaust Remembrance Day Program on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m., the Highland Park Public Library, 31 North Fifth Avenue.
Rabbi Rosenberg, known locally as “Rabbi Ben,” offers an insightful presentation rich with new perspectives. Working in the Jewish and secular communities, he has been fighting for human rights, respectful Holocaust commemoration and preventing genocide for the past 35 years. As a professor of communications at Yeshiva University and a part-time lecturer in the Department of Communication at Rutgers University, he has trained thousands of students to go out into the world and deliver their messages with clarity and coherence.
Author of The Holocaust As Seen Through Film, Rabbi Rosenberg also is the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth-El of Edison.
