Express Interest in the First Autonomous Vehicle-Based Urban Transit System
Firms can submit to the Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) to inform the design, build-out, and operation of a safe and equitable automated vehicle transportation system for Trenton. The Trenton Mobility & Opportunity: Vehicles Equity System (MOVES) Project will provide safe, equitable, affordable, and sustainable high-quality mobility through the deployment of autonomous vehicles. Following the solicitation of the RFEI, there may be formal Requests for Qualifications or Proposals. The deadline for the RFEI response is February 11th, 2022.
Submit a Proposal for a State-Owned 26-Acre Property
Businesses and individuals can submit a proposal to purchase or ground lease a New Jersey Economic Development Authority-owned 26-acre property located on Route 1 in North Brunswick. The question and answer period ends January 17th, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., and applications are due March 16th, 2022.
Provide Input on the Historic Property Reinvestment Program
Developers, members of the business community, and other stakeholders can provide input on the Historic Property Reinvestment Program, a competitive tax credit program that focuses on historic preservation as a component of community development. Awards of up to 45% of rehabilitation costs are available for qualified properties, up to a maximum of $8 million. Awards are scored on a competitive basis. The public can provide feedback on the draft rules or participate in a listening session on December 17th, 2021, at 11 a.m. or December 20th, 2021, at 11:30 a.m.
