Highland Park’s 2019 Restaurant Week, from Monday July 29 – Sunday August 4, offers diners a great chance to experience the huge range of diverse cuisines in a compact, walkable downtown with plenty of free parking.
Under two square miles in size, Highland Park is small but its downtown packs an outsized punch in restaurant diversity and quality. In addition, Highland Park’s culinary treasures are just a short walk over the Raritan River from Rutgers University and the city of New Brunswick.
“Our Restaurant Week offers specials in such a wide range of cuisines; it really offers something for every taste and budget,” said Rebecca Hersh, executive director of Main Street Highland Park. “We hope that these deals and discounts will bring out both regular diners as well as new customers. It’s incredible what a diversity of foods are available in such a small area, from Asian to Kosher to Mediterranean to American bistro to Italian to desserts to Venezuelan and everything in between.”
Restaurant Week runs from July 29 to August 4, with 17 eateries currently participating:
