Investigation of Raritan Ave massage parlor results in prostitution arrests

S Massage Spa LLC – located at 1001 Raritan Avenue in Highland Park – is the massage parlor where on April 22 four individuals were arrested and charged with prostitution, according to an April 28 statement from the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office. Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Highland Park Police Chief Stephen J. Rizco made the announcement and noted that the four individuals were charged following an investigation that began with an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County Inc.

The defendants were identified as Sook Hee Park, 48, of Flushing, Queens, Sun Hui Nam, 48, and Eun Sil Jan, 53, all of Flushing, Queens and Hezhong Chen, 55, of Sayreville.

Sook Hee Park was charged with promoting prostitution, engaging in prostitution and money laundering. Sun Hui Nam was charged with promoting prostitution and money laundering. Eun Sil Jang was charged with engaging in prostitution. Hezhong Chen was charged with promoting prostitution.

The still active investigation is part of a continuing statewide effort to combat human trafficking

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against these individuals are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
