Business Brief: Chambers look toward global opportunities

The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce are partnering to present a program on the evening of Feb. 3, 2016, that highlights global opportunities. The two chambers have teamed up to create an opportunity for local businesses to expand their connections globally.

On Wednesday, February 3, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the two Chambers will host Network to Success: Connections Over Cocktails, where attendees can meet state representatives, network with like-minded industry professionals, expand business outreach and connect on global topics. The event will take place at the Holiday Inn Princeton, 100 Independence Way, Princeton (off of Route One in South Brunswick Township)

“In this highly diverse part of the county, anyone involved in local economic development must have a keen understanding of not only local markets, but also regional and global markets. The Global Opportunities Program provides access to that knowledge,” said Lina Llona, president, Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

“Business partnerships are built on personal relationships and trustworthiness. This program provides real, global networking opportunities that allows us to build those lasting relationships,” she added.

Tickets are $25 for members; $40 for all others. The price of admission includes beer, wine, soft drinks, light hors d’oeuvres, and, of course, networking!
