HPHS parents and students urge community support of Project Graduation

The weather out side is frightful, but the parents of the Highland Park High School Class of 2016 are focusing on something very delightful – Project Graduation and the fundraising events leading up to a night of alcohol-free celebrating for the high school graduating seniors. The HP High School Class of 2016 and their parents invite you to have a great time and support Project Graduation by attending any or all of a fun series of local events.

A nationwide tradition, Project Graduation, which has been part of Highland Park school scene since 1991, is an all-night, alcohol- and drug-free party that keeps kids safe on the night of their high school graduation. The entire class of graduating seniors participates free of charge, thanks to the fundraising efforts of parents and the support of the community. The parents this year hope to raise $11,000 to cover the costs of the evening; if more money is raised, it will be put in a fund for the HPHS Class of 2017

Coming up are the following fund-raising events: Stay tuned and check www.hpprojectgraduation.com to find out more details about the events, including how to pay for them.
