On May 1, 2015, the Highland Park Board of Education filed a formal legal challenge to the N.J. Commissioner of Education’s approval of the expansion of Hatikvah Charter School in East Brunswick. The board is specifically challenging the tuition requirement mandating the Highland Park School District to pay tuition for the Highland Park students enrolled in the charter school.
The School Budget is nearing the end of decision making process as nearly $29 million budget is being considered. The public is urged to voice their opinions at two events taking place on April 13 and April 20. READ MORE
