Main Street HP is alive this summer with activities to suit every taste

It is like a mid-summer’s day’s and night’s dream come true for Highland Park residents and merchants, as Main Street Highland Park dives into activities to boost foot traffic in the downtown and maintain the viability of the town’s valued community asset. The events over the next several weeks are the following:

—FRIDAY, July 28: Main Street Highland Park – with sponsorship support from St Peter’s Healhcare System – is throwing a tomato party (rain or shine) at the Highland Park Farmers Market to celebrate the Jersey tomato! • Tomato samples
  • Tomato-themed food demos
  • Extended market hours till 7pm
  • A small punk rock flea market
  • Sustainable Highland Park’s plastic bag reduction campaign launch
  • A raffle prize drawing at 4pm. Here’s how the raffle will work:

If you spend $5 or more at the Farmers Market, you will be entered to win a big raffle prize

Drawing will be at 4pm on Friday 7/28 at the Tomato Fest.

The prize will include a Farmers Market canvas tote bag, treats from the Farmers Market vendors, and goodies from downtown Highland Park merchants
